There are very few cities, lots of trees and lakes and empty space. Helsinki is the official capital, but in winter Rovaniemi in the North is far more important for most tourists - with Sami, Reindeer, Northern Lights and Santa Claus. National sports in Finland: ice hockey, cross country ski and Sauna!
