Travelling to Falkland Islands, Malvinas (Falkland Islands)?

The Falkland Islands east of Southern Argentina is a remote and cold place, home to a lot of birds. It hosts the world's largest colony of Black-browed Albatross with an estimated 1/4 million individuals. Major economic activities on the island include fishing, tourism and sheep farming.

The Falkland Islands, South Georgia, South Orkney Islands and South Shetland Islands are all claimed by (far-away) Great Britain and (nearby) Argentina. Argentinians call the islands "Islas Malvinas".

Falkland Islands

Falkland Islands (aka Islas Malvinas) is a (British ruled) group of islands East of Patagonia, Argentina. They are part of the mild Antarctic zone, with similar flora and fauna as Patagonia with many mammals and birds (e.g. the albatros).
